Master Overwatch is a site that presents organizes player statistics from the video game Overwatch. The link is tied to my account for quick reference.

They have a great responsive site which translates very well between mobile and desktop views. However, I hated having to always load up my phones web browser to use the site. As so, I did a little bit of a design/redesign for a potential app.

Unfortunately, in an attempt to curb the poor behavior in the competitive environment, Blizzard have reduced the statistics that are shared with the viewer. So many listed here may not exist to the public.

Who is this for?

This site organizes in-game data for better visualization. It also makes it easy to compare statistics against other players to compare performance as to better inform of impact and allow people to measure up.

So what Changed?

For the most part, it was just a visual redesign to better suit mobile users from a user experience perspective, where the tabs for Overview/Heroes/etc were shifted to be permanently on the bottom for easier navigation, some breadcrumbs so the user doesn't lose track of where they are.

Text was made to have more contrast to improve legibility. Color was added with different values to aid in colorblindness and interpretation.

The buttons to share or favorite the profile were also made slightly larger for easier thumb pressing.
